We will hold our board elections for the 2022-2023 year and form plans and goals for the Society for the year. Nominations are open for board positions! All are welcome to attend! Must be a member in good standing to be nominated for the election and to vote. Join us for a virtual Patriots' Day happy hour. We would prefer to be watching the Boston Marathon and the Red Sox. But we would also prefer DC recognize Patriots' day as a holiday. This year, "Summer Insanity" will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7th, at West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. (same location as last year). We're building a team, comprised of at least 10 players, of which AT LEAST 3 must be female, to represent Massachusetts in this fun event!
We'll be teaming up with the Connecticut and Rhode Island State Societies to form one Nor'easter of a team, so get your New England spirit on! In typical regional fashion, there will be plenty of free New England beer available for us!
There will be official umpires, calling balls and strikes, to keep the momentum moving along, and each team will be guaranteed (at least) TWO games in this "double-elimination" tournament.
