Membership
Joining the Massachusetts Society of Washington DC is a way to stay connected with home through a community here in DC committed to the same values and shared background.
The Society functions as a liaison group for social, professional and educational purposes, and annually sponsors or participants in events with Massachusetts connections or that are steeped in New England traditions.

Drink tickets and other discounts offered throughout the year exclusively for our members.
Voting rights and eligibility to run for MA Society Board Member positions.
Free participation in the National Conference of State Societies softball tournament.
Eligibility to join Congressional Federal Credit Union.
Members are also able to sit on the Society’s Board of Directors and participate in the organization’s leadership. Members participate in social events, such as receptions, sports watch parties (Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics of course!), and the Society’s softball team. We also organize community service both as a group and part of larger efforts such as Wreaths Across America.
The Massachusetts Society is also an opportunity to participate in a broader community through The National Council of State Societies, which sponsors the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
